I am tired and my eyelids heavy

I am grey from the evenings bevvy

I am old from the tales I have heard

I am young like a new born bird

I am wise, ‘jees’; aye, and learnēd

So smart, my fingers don’t get burnēd

Show me a scam, Ill show you a rocket

and I’ll show you this gun here in my pocket

Devils hands, angels heart, the better part,

The mountain dew settles on a buck

He so tired and outa’ luck

My old grey hat’s layin on a post

Mr. Marin’s cat high on something else

Sniffs the air without a certain care

Lazing in the sun so sweetly
